Good Morning Photo lovers, today I have the distinct pleasure of introducing you to baby 'Amy Kate', who's officially 5weeks & 3 days new today!
I had the pleasure to capture Judy's Maternity shoot at 36weeks followed by the amazing birth of 'Amy Kate' on the 12th August 2013. I can definitely say that Judy has a high resistence to pain that allowed her to be so super calm through the whole experience of labour. The sex was unknown at the time by Judy but Ross knew from the ultrasound but kept it under wraps until after Amy was born. I arrived at 6pm at the logan hospital where Judy was being assessed before heading around to the birth suites. They figured that she had arrived too early for the birth but actually she was 7cm dilated so not early at all. Perfect timing really!
Amy decided to enter the new wide world at 9.41pm weighing n at 3190grams and 51cm long. Surprise its a GIRL!!
I decided to ask Judy a questions about her new baby Amy.
What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time? Amazed that she was mine!
Judy booked me for her birth solely for her to be able to have these memories to look back on in years to come. A heirloom to be able to share with her new daughter when she is old enough to be interested in her entrance into this world. PRICELESS!
Birth sessions are such an emotional moment that is so incredible to capture. The emotions between the couple is just so beautiful, the first view of your new baby is incredible, the first hold is something so special, the first feed is such a beautiful moment which begins the bond between mum and baby, dads first hold is just so adorable! All these moments are PRICELESS! Moments that can never be repeated in your lifetime. Without these moments captured in time they will become just faded memories. Don't take these unforgettable moments in life for granted! Book in for your birth session today so we can capture these unforgettable moments for you also before its too late.
The next blog will be on Amy's newborn session
Without further adieu, here is the birth of 'Amy Kate'
